Top of the world golf resort is the closest golf course to Lake George village, at about 10 minutes. They offer an 18 holes course with some breathtaking views of the lake.
They of course have an on-site restaurant - partly supplied by their own farm! - and a Bed & Breakfast is you want to sleepover.

Queensbury Country Club is an 18 holes course at about 15 minutes from the village. Each hole is described - with picture - on their website, if you want to see the course before playing!
They have an online coupon available if you wish to play during the afternoon.

Sunnyside is a 'Par 3' golf course that anybody can play, not far from Lake George. It's also possible to play during the evening since they have lights on their course (glow-in-the-dark balls are also available for renting).

Hiland Park Country Club is a challenging public golf course appreciated by its guests. It has hosted a few PGA qualifying events and is considered one of the nicest in northern New York State.

The Sagamore is a beautiful award-winning Golf course right by the lake. This hill side golf course will please experienced golfers.
It has received award from Golf Digest and offers some stunning views of the surrounding woods and of Lake George.

The Airway Meadows Golf Club is located about 30 minutes from Lake George village. It's a public 18 holes and they organize tournaments about once a month.

Saratoga National Golf Club is a 18 holes course located about 30 minutes south of Lake George.
